‘Altered Carbon’ Creator Will be Producing A Live Action Netflix Series For ‘Sword Art Online’
Altered Carbon is currently one of Netflix’s hottest series. It is a sci-fi driven story that takes place in a distant future where the human mind can be transported into another body to live on forever. The writer for Altered Carbon, Laeta Kalogridis, recently announced that she’ll be writing and producing a live adaptation of Sword Art Online (SAO).
Sword Art Online (SAO) is a famous anime and manga that revolves around the story of characters entering the VR world to battle monsters and enemies. They live in a futuristic environment where VR technology actually transports you to an alternative VR world and takes over most of your senses. While this type of VR technology might not be realistic yet, it might be in the near future where SAO takes place (year 2022).
Michelle Rodriguez Will be Starring In A New VR Series Called ‘The Limit’
Michelle Rodriguez, best known for her role in Fast and the Furious, will be starring in a new upcoming live-action VR series called The Limit. This new short-form series is created by the VR division a STX Entertainment and STXsurreal. It will be released through the company’s VR app.
The Limit was written, directed, and produced by Robert Rodriguez. The VR series will be about how a genetically enhanced weapon of mass destruction (Michelle Rodriguez) where she is on a way road to destroy the company that created her.
Magic Leap Announces New Partnership With NBA To Bring Mixed Reality Content
Magic Leap has announced a new partnership with the NBA and Turner Sports to bring about a new way to watch basketball. Today, we announced a similar partnership between Intel and the NBA and now we are seeing Magic Leap come into the picture as well.
Just a few months ago, Magic Leap unveiled their HMD product called the Magic Leap One. It harnesses the power to overlay digital objects into the real world and they plan on executing this plan with the NBA.

Red Gerard, a 17 year-old phenom snowboarder from Silverthorne, Colorado, has managed to win the first U.S. gold medal at this year’s PyeongChang Winter Olympics. He put down an amazing run in the slopestyle event that won him the prized medal and put the US team on the leader’s board.
Amazingly, NBC in partnership with Intel has released a clip of his run in 360 VR for you to follow along in this amazing run. Gerard is only 17 years of age and beat out many other experienced boarders who have been riding for a lot longer than he has.
New Gameplay Of Polyarc’s ‘Moss’ PS VR Game
Moss is one of the more anticipated PSVR games to release this year by Polyarc studios. The game centers around a young heroine mouse by the name of Quill who ventures forth on a unique and exciting journey. While the game has been announced for some time now, Polyarc in partnership with PlayStation have released new gameplay footage of the upcoming game.
