Blade Runner 9732 VR Experience Now Available

We recently saw the release of Blade Runner 2049: Memory Lab VR experience where you play as a Blade Runner who, after the violent ending in Blade Runner 2049: Replicant Pursuit, reports to the Wallace Corporation’s Memory Lab at the Wallace Corporation for incident analysis.

Now, there’s a new VR experience available called Blade Runner 9732 that takes you on a virtual tour inside Deckard’s apartment. In the app you’ll be able to have a drink on the balcony where you can view the streets from the 97th floor. You’ll also be able to play the piano and even start the Esper Machine.


HTC Officially Announces New Vive Pro At CES With Bigger Resolution And Wireless Adapter

During this year’s CES, HTC has announced a new Vive Pro model with a larger display at 2,880 × 1,600 resolution with dual OLED screens.

“There’s a clear need in the VR market for a premium VR experience with high resolution display, integrated audio and the best components available today in a headset,” said Daniel O’Brien, GM U.S., VIVE. “Vive Pro offers an immediate upgrade for both VR enthusiasts and enterprises that want to utilize the best VR experience.” 

The current display on the Vive headset currently has 2,180 × 1,200 resolution. This gives the headset about 78% more pixels. Additionally, the Vive Pro will have an optional wireless adapter similar to how the TPCast works today.


Oculus Announces Partnership With Xiaomi And Qualcomm For Oculus Go

Oculus has announced a new partnership with Xiaomi and Qualcomm at CES 2018 for the Oculus Go headset. Using the technology from the two partner companies, Oculus looks to push their 3DoF standalone VR headset to the worldwide market in the near future.


Google And Lenovo Unveil The Mirage Solo VR Headset With 6DoF

Last year during the Google I/O conference, the Google team announced that they’ll be partnering up with HTC and Lenovo to release two standalone VR headsets. While HTC is no longer partnering up with Google on that mission, Lenovo has unveiled the standalone VR headset called the Mirage Solo.

Sansar Studios in partnership with Warner Bros. Entertainment has released Ready Player One Aech’s Garagefor VR. In this experience you’ll be visiting Aech’s Garage in the virtual world where you get to see the wonderful scenes and characters in the upcoming movie.
