Watch: Justin Roiland Co-Creator of ‘Rick and Morty’ Gives Keynote Speech About the VR Industry
VRLA was a big hit this year with an estimated 10,000 people in attendance. The event took place on April 14th – April 15th at the Los Angeles Convention Center with many VR professionals, experts, and companies present. And one of the highlights at the show was Justin Roiland who gave a keynote speech about VR and the emerging technology.
Justin Roiland is the co-creator of Rick and Morty who does the actual voicing to the two main characters (Grandpa Rick and young Morty). With his unique set of skills, Roiland was able to skyrocket the quirky sci-fi cartoon sitcom into a realm rarely seen. He was able to create a show that’s relatable to many generations and entertain millions around the world.
In the Keynote speech you’ll hear Roiland talk about the future of VR, wizard games, and….. grandmas! He will also address the difficult topics of wizard grandmas and how it factors into VR.
