In Beat Saber, users wield two different colored lightsabers in their hands and slash through the oncoming beats which are in the form of 3d blocks. They are color coded for the different colored lightsabers where you must slash through them accordingly. The blocks themselves are rhythm matched with the beat of the song and come at you in waves dependent of the difficulty settings.
Tilt-Brush – HTC Vive | Oculus Rift
Tilt-Brush is still one of our favorite VR experiences to show to our friends and family as it provides an immersive environment where users have the ability to paint whatever they want in a 3D open space. It’s quite amazing how you can paint all of the different colors in the air with added neon flare to make things pop out.
We recommend Tilt Brush for the imaginative people as it is an easy entry-point into VR.
Lone Echo is one of our favorite VR games that takes place in space. Players will be taking on the role of Jack, an advanced artificial intelligence with a state-of-the-art synthetic body. Throughout the game your main objective will be to assist Captain Olivia Rhodes solve an increasingly threatening mystery as you use futuristic tools, clever problem solving, and interactive dialogue to engage with the world around you.
The cool thing about this game is the zero-gravity that you get to experience in VR. Things are silky smooth and makes you wonder if this is really what its like to be outer space.
Rick and Morty: Virtual Rick-ality – HTC Vive | Oculus Rift
Rick and Morty is one of the most beloved TV shows right now which features Grandpa Rick and grandson Morty who go on epic adventures in outer space.
In this game you will play as Morty’s clone (and endure all the trauma that comes with it!) as you explore Rick’s garage, the Smith household, and alien worlds. Step through portals, help Rick with his bizarre experiments, and use your hands in VR to pick up and play in an interaction-filled 3D Rick-ality. Follow Rick’s directions (or don’t!) to solve puzzles and complete missions in this fully voice acted adventure.
