The new Galaxy Note 8 smartphone does not feature a 4K display like many have hoped for. Rather, it’ll be an improved version to the Super AMOLED Infinity Display. Along with this news, Samsung has also announced that there will be a new Gear VR headset to go along with the Note 8 smartphone.

The new mobile VR headset will not have an on-board volume controller and will be a little bit bigger to accommodate the size of the Galaxy Note 8 smartphone. Consumers that are planning on purchasing the new smartphone can pre-order the new Gear VR headset starting tomorrow for $130. It will come with the headset controller.

The new Galaxy Note 8 will not work with previous Gear VR headsets.

The pre-orders will be featured through Samsung’s home page, Amazon Best Buy, AT&T, Sprint, Verizon and US Cellular. The new Gear VR headset arrives September 15th. Stay tuned for a closer inside look.
