A HoloLens developer has showcased his unofficial prototype for popular soccer videogame Rocket League in a teaser trailer that has been gaining a lot of popularity. This is a fan creation, and not an official take on Psyonix’s wildly popular vehicular soccer game.
Developed by Javier Davalos (check out his Youtube page here), he wrote that the project was “just something I worked on this morning to show my friends how awesome the future of gaming will be like. It would fix the thing that I dislike the most in Rocket League, the camera! Feels super natural to play in this way.”
This version of Rocket League allows the user to bat the ball around using a remote controlled toy car. Driving the car into the ball propels motion.
Many viewers are disappointed that this is only a prototype, as they fear that they will never get their hands on it.
