A few days ago it was reported that people have been receiving emails in regards to the cancellation of Playful Corp’s upcoming title, Star Child. In the message it stated:
“Thank you for pre-ordering Star Child. The publisher has notified us that the game is cancelled. As a result, we have withdrawn the current pre-order form the PlayStation Store and will cancel all pre-orders.”
And with the commotion, Playful Corp has stated that this was an error due to pushing back the release date of the game. On their official Twitter the company stated, “Playful is still hard at work on Star Child! Our internal projected launch date changed, triggering a cancellation of pre-orders on PSN, but rest assured the game’s development is alive and well. We can’t wait to share more soon!”

Star Child went on to say, “rest assured the game’s development is alive and well. We can’t wait to share more soon!” So the game is still slated to release some time in the future on the PLayStation VR console.
