Fallout 4 VR has been a huge success in the world of virtual reality. Bethesda and the team have ported the full game over to the virtual platform for VR users to enjoy. The original Fallout 4 was released all the way back in 2015 with players setting all types of records including speed runs.
According to Speedrun.com the fastest time ever achieved in completing Fallout 4 was 00:39:45 without loads. With loads it was 00:52:47. Recently, a player named BubblesDelFuego was able to complete the Fallout 4 VR version of the game in 00:48:25 RTA (Real Time Attack). This means that the speedrun was completed in real time.
Above, you can watch the whole speedrun that BubblesDelFuego does in Fallout 4 VR. It’s quite impressive to see the loopholes he finds in the game to complete the story at lightning speeds. He does not use smooth locomotion but rather teleportation to travel faster.
You can see how he spams the trigger to move at speeds faster than normal. He also knows the exact location of everything which makes it easier to complete the game.
At the end of the video he states that he most likely will be able to achieve a faster speedrun of around the 45 minute mark which would be another huge milestone.
Fallout 4 VR is still relatively new to the market where we will see many more people attempt speedruns for the game. We will see continuous slashes in time and look forward to seeing how fast other gamers can complete this RPG game.
