Pimax 5K & 8K VR Headset Preorders Start Today – Here Are The Specs You Should See

The time has finally come where Pimax is starting to open up their products to the general public. They have finally launched their pre-orders for the 5K and 8K headsets after years of R&D.
Below are the cost breakdowns for the 5K and 8K VR headsets from Pimax:
- Pimax 8K: $900
- Pimax 5K BE (Business Edition): $1,000
- Pimax 5K Plus: $700
While the pre-orders are live, Pimax has not mentioned the release dates for the headsets. Rather, this puts you in queue where you will later on here when you will be receiving the headsets. We believe the time frame to be some time next year in 2019 based on the last update news.
The headsets will not come included with the SteamVR Knuckles controller nor the base stations. This will simply include the HMD with add-ons for additional cost. Below is a in-depth review of the 5K and 8K headset by SweViver.
