Paranormal Activity VR “The Lost Soul” Coming Soon, With New Trailer For The Experience
Paranormal Activity has by far been the scariest movie that I’ve ever seen. For weeks on end, I couldn’t sleep right whenever I heard the smallest of noises. But this might be taken to a whole new level with the franchise releasing a VR experience called Paranormal Activity: The Lost Soul.
The early access of the VR Game will be released on March 14th, 2017 for the Oculus Rift and HTC Vive. The full version will be released later for the PlayStation VR.
The teaser trailer is quite short and doesn’t provide much description about the game. All you really see is the hallway which leads into a living room of some sorts with a TV on. I for one wouldn’t just wander down that scary hall. Rather, I’d turn the opposite way and make my way out of that haunted house. It’s quite apparent that the experience is going to have that signature scariness to it that most Paranormal Activity movies have.
Paranormal Activity: The Lost Soul VR game is being developed by VRWERX in partnership with Paramount Studios, located in Los Angeles. VRWERX is currently working on other projects such as Jesus VR: The Story of Christ which is said to be the world’s first feature length VR movie. That project is set to debut in Spring of 2017 for most VR devices.
The early access version of the VR game will be limited in gameplay and content. There hasn’t been any announcement regarding what will specifically be featured on March 14th for Paranormal Activity: The Lost Soul. But if you are into scary games in VR, this might be right up your alley.

Here’s a little snippet from the game where you travel down a basement and find a room full of satanic symbols such as the Pentagram.
