Oculus Now Supports Chromecast for your Gear VR headset

Today, Oculus has announced that Gear VR will now support Chromecast. According to their team, you’ll be able to share all of your Gear VR experiences directly from the headset by streaming to your TV in real-time.
This simple-to-use feature helps you stay connected and engaged while in VR, simply hit the Cast button in the Oculus mobile app, select a Cast device, and put on Gear VR. Once you’re finished casting, simply tap the Cast button within the Oculus Android app again to disable sharing.
In order for both the systems to sync the Oculus mobile app and Android must be updated to the latest version. Chromecast will let you enjoy VR while staying connected and engaged with everyone in the room. VR games such as Dead and Buried can be played and seen through the TV screen while being in the virtual space.
Google announced that Chromecast will be seeing additional functionalities specifically designed for VR during their annual I/O conference. Partnering up with Oculus to add features for the Gear VR users seems like a welcomed idea for the community. People will now be able to see what the VR users are seeing on the big screen.
