Jen-Hsun Huang, founder and CEO of Nvidia, has just announced the GTX 1080Ti. The Nvidia GTX 1080Ti is 35% faster than the GTX 1080. This new graphics card is suppose to be even faster than their Titan X series which is crazy to comprehend.

In a quick overview, Huang displayed the capabilities of the GTX 1080Ti with some eye-popping stats. According to their graphs, the new graphics card will have 11GB of frame buffer. This means that the graphics card is able to buffer games such as Watch Dogs 2 and Deus Ex at 5K.

Additionally, the new Nvidia GTX 1080Ti graphics card will have 1200+ memory bandwidth when it’s super charged. It’s in combination of raw bandwidth, compression, and tiled caching. The founder of Nvidia also displayed some real time statistics where the graphics card was clocking at over 2GHz. The memory clock was at over 5GHz and the temperature stayed pretty normal at around 66 C.

While we were expecting the The Nvidia GTX 1080Ti to be released closer at $999, Huang announced that it will be available for $699. This is quite a staggering price point as the graphics card offers so much power, even beyond the Titan X. Jen-Hsun Huang made it clear on stage that this is the real deal. It’ll be available for purchase starting next week.
