It is finally the weekend and there are many VR games to check out this weekend on the Oculus Rift. This includes some interesting titles that will tinkle with your brain. Let’s dive right into it.

Check out some new releases

Below is the full list of new recommended games to play on Oculus Rift this week:

Gunship Battle2 VR: Rift Edition$9.99

Gunship Battle2 VR is essentially Ace Combat 6, just in VR. You’ll become a former ace pilot named Dylan where you participate in a top secret government project. But because of it, you will lose everything including your family and memory. Your mission is to save the world and avenge the family. Good luck soldier.

The Lost Bear$6.99

In The Lost Bear you’ll be playing the game as a young girl named Walnut who sets out to rescue her teddy bear and bring her back home. The player sits inside a 3D diorama, inspired by puppet show theatre, that reflects what’s happening within the game and alters as the game progresses.

“Walnut’s story originates from my little sister, who always wandered off to the woodlands with her teddy bear by her side,” said Daniel Robinson, Game Director at Odd Bug Studio. “She has always inspired me through her bravery and willingness to overcome her fears. And so, this game is all about a young girl called Walnut also overcoming her fears when she is alone in a wondrous, surreal and dangerous world.

Mech League Boxing – $9.99

Mech League Boxing takes place in year 2025 where human species have figured out how to control robots and drones with virtual reality headsets and hardware. The universe, and most of society is mostly oppressed by a communistic government and censorship is rampant. Society needs a release and they find it in robot fighting.

Flappy Arms – $1.99

Flappy Arms is the premier VR bird simulator where you spread your arms and flap your way through a never ending city of obstacles. There is a a local leader board, wacky arm flailing action, and a third person spectator mode that makes the game even more challenging.

No more Flappy Bird.

Steampuff: Phinnegan’s Factory$9.99

Phinnegan’s Factory will take you to a unique world where you enter the Sky-High City of Steampuff. You’ll be armed with various weapons to destroy the enemy robots and go through a series of acts to reach the end of the game.

I wish you good luck.

#SelfieTennis is a virtual reality tennis game with really nice physics simulation and great AI, accessible to players of all ages and with no motion sickness.

You’ll be playing against yourself on a tennis court in the clouds, with Ball People surrounding you and messing around together with you. The AI can be described as highly sophisticated, funny, stupid, and other things. Tennis pros have confirmed that it is indeed a pretty good simulation, but without all the hassles of real life, such as running after the balls or not shooting at other people.

Go hit those balls.

Tank of War VR – $19.99

Have you ever wanted to be a tank and jot just be inside one? Well, you can become a tank in Tank of War VR. In this game, you’ll be facing off against other enemy tanks in remote environemtns across various weather conditions. You will have to hone in your senses and make things happen with your tank in VR. This is the full release of the game. We have added this to our list since we missed last week.

I wish I can say tank a little bit more…
