The hype is real for the new Snapchat overlays called “Sky Filters” which transforms your conventional pictures into a work of art. The new filters allow you to take ordinary pictures with the sky that can be edited to look like you’re somewhere else.
Snap Inc. has been experimenting ways in which they can separate themselves from the growing competition by launching features such as World Lenses. Competitors such as Facebook and Instagram have launched a “daily store” of their own, which puts Snapchat in a bit of a squeeze. As a matter of fact, they already have a larger audience base than Snapchat with hundreds of millions of active daily users.
