MasterpieceVR has recently launched a VR creation tool that gives enthusiasts, artists, and professionals the ability to create 3D content in the virtual space. While there are multiple solutions available for creating 3D artwork in VR, MasterpieceVR has combined some essential factors that distinguishes it from the rest.

To start with, this new VR app offers true multi-user 3D collaboration in VR. Whether you’re using the Oculus Rift or HTC Vive, you’ll be able to join the same space to work on the 3D project. This makes it quite convenient as friends and collaborators could be using different pairs of headsets.

MasterpieceVR also allows up to four people to work in the same space in real time. This makes collaboration efforts a lot nicer as these 3D content creation project can involve more than two people. Users can even join the VR space to spectate the work while the artists are creating their virtual work of art.

“We wanted to push the boundaries by creating an organic 3D modeling tool that is both powerful and easy to learn,” said CEO of MasterpieceVR, Jonathan Gagne. “VR was the medium to do this in. It let us take a big step forward in the development of a tool that let people work together in real-time to co-create on the same piece or contribute feedback or critique immediately.”
