Mark Zuckerberg just livestreamed on Facebook Spaces where he showcased the power of the virtual space. He is joined by Rachel Franklin, Head of Social VR, and goes over the possibilities of the VR space.
Zuckerberg first heads to Puerto Rico to show the damages that have occurred from the natural disaster. He also visits the Oculus Connect event from last year where he talks about what will go on at this year’s Oculus Connect 4 event (OC4). Zuckerberg mentioned that there will be many things to look forward to at the event taking place this week. Both Facebook executives also went to the moon through Facebook Spaces to hold a casual conversation.
Zuckerberg took a few questions to answer from the comments section. One of the questions from the Facebook community members was if they hold meetings in Facebook Spaces and Zuckerberg states that he indeed does with his employees. It provides a more immersive experience over conference calls. “VR gets better with more people,” Zuckerberg stated.
