Justin Roiland’s upcoming PSVR game Accounting+ features Morty’s voice from the hit TV show
Justin Roiland, creator of Rick and Morty and CCO at Squanch Games, has recently announced that he’ll be releasing a virtual reality game called Accounting+ on PlayStation VR in partnership with Crows Crows Crows studio.
The game features various activities in the VR accounting world with levels that’ll put your intelligence to the test. The team describes it as a “nightmare adventure comedy” where you’ll have to clean up your office, take the battery out of the cooling machine, play the skeleton xylophone, and/or summon thousands of demons. This is pretty much a game you’d expect from Justin Roiland, let’s just put it at that.
Also, if you’re familiar with the Rick and Morty franchise, you’re definitely going to like what you hear throughout the game. Users will quickly find out that some of the characters are voiced by Justin Roiland. Not only that, one of the characters actually sound like Morty from the Rick and Morty series. You will have to listen to Morty’s high-pitched voice screaming, “What are you doing in my place? Get the f*** out of here!” quite frequently.
Justin Roiland explained more about the game in a sitdown interview with Playstation during the PSX 2017 conference which took place last week. He explains more about the game, narrative, objectives, and more.
In the video above, you can see that Roilan explains the various levels, characters, and objectives featured in Accounting+. This has a lot more content than the originally released version on HTC Vive and will feature lots of new content.
Accounting+ is available for pre-order today for $10.19 (odd pricing). The game is set to release on December 19th. If you’re a fan of Justin Roiland, Rick and Morty, or the original Accounting VR game, make sure to pick up a copy of Accounting+.
