HTC Vive Has Announced Their Valentines Sale 2017 On Viveport For Six VR Games
Ah, the day of love is almost upon us. During this year’s Valentines, why don’t you kick back with your loved one and enjoy some virtual reality? HTC Vive has just announced their special Valentine’s VR deal that includes six games and experiences. The six titles that’ll be included in the deal are Stonehenge VR, Gnomes & Goblins, Dating Lessons, VR Vacate the Room, Celestrion, and Surge. Below are some descriptions, ratings, and reviews for the VR experiences.
Stonehenge VR is an educational VR experience that takes you to one of the world’s greatest mysteries, the Stonehenge. Located in Wiltshire, England the experience will inform you about the history and beauty behind the enigmatic rocks. You’ll have a narrated guide along the journey with animations.
The reviews are mixed with people enjoying the VR experience and others in displeasure of the overall quality. The developer of the educational experience is highly active on the reviews section, working on finding solutions to customers’ problems. We recommend that you give this a shot.
Gnmoes & Goblins is a collaborated project between Wevr and Jon Favreau (director of The Jungle Book and Iron Man) that takes you inside an enchanted VR world. Users will meet and develop a personal relationship with a creature in this fantasy world. “This will be the first step into the lucid dream of Gnomes & Goblins and its many realms of denizens.” – Wevr
The game has garnered a lot of high reviews in a short amount of time. It’s definitely an interactive experience worth checking out if you are a fan of fantasy worlds. Jon Favreau is also a great director who has done a great job in leading this project.
Dating Lessons is a dating training course developed by Cerevrum Inc. It’s purpose is to teach users in VR on how to go on a first date.

Does it work? Maybe for some people. There isn’t much reviews for the game as it’s quite new to Viveport. If you are looking for a dating training course in VR, this just might be the right experience.
VR: Vacate The Room is an escape experience developed by Heiko Martin Ihde. Throughout the experience you’ll have to find clues to solve puzzles and find your way out of the room. The puzzle-like VR game has received a lot of attention and provided a great experience for many folks. We definitely reommend that you try it out.
Celestrion is a VR experience developed by dSky VR. Inside Celestrion you’ll be placed in your very own Orrey, a working heliocentric 3D model of our solar system. If you’re ever interested in our solar system, this would be a great application to use in learning about our neighbor planets.
Surge is one of the first ever VR music videos released on the HTC Vive. A company called House of Secrets wanted to create a joyful and immersive experience which brings animations and music to life. It’s a pretty unique experience as you observe lights, colors, sound, and objects mesh together in a virtual world.
