IndustrialVR is a brand new game designed by Pixela Labs to show and explain workflow and general concepts of complex industrial sites. It offers both educational and explorational VR experiences by giving users the ability to navigate through the industrial sites, explore detailed areas of specific machinery, and play and pause technical cycles to understand underlying principles better.

Learn how nuclear power plants work by visiting the Fukushima Nuclear Power plant. Go to the Hoover dam to see what processes inside. Discover what happens at the Horizontal Drilling Rig. Find your way inside the International Space Station. It’s something new in the world of VR, combining visuals powered by Unreal Engine 4 and a innovative approach for documentaries, IndustrialVR “shows and tells” the interesting processes of industrial facility operation and grants access to sites where people not allowed. For the first time, viewers can learn and experience the world’s most unbelievable engineering achievements firsthand by peering into the heart of the technology with the highest level of access.

IndustrialVR provides clear answers to the questions of what exactly happens in these insanely complicated locations, while simultaneously telling an entertaining story.

According to IndustrialVR, since its launch, the game offers two modes: a story mode and a free mode. The story mode educates and familiarizes players with general principles of the operations, while the free mode features a more detailed view, allowing the player to explore various internal parts and learn more details related to engineering. This mode allows absolute freedom of exploration of objects found at the dam site.

Industrial VR is supported by Oculus Rift and HTC Vive and is available for desktop mode as well. It is not yet available to consumers, but we will let you know when it launches!
