Here’s the first official look at Google’s Daydream VR headset. Google has been creating affordable headsets called the Google Cardboard that’s been compatible with Android smartphones. But Google wanted to create a more quality experience in virtual reality so they have gone to develop their very own solution that’ll be perfectly compatible with their upcoming smartphone called Google Pixel. Here are some of the listed specs for the smartphone:
The VR headsets will be released in different colors unlike traditional units.
In addition to the headset, they’ll be releasing a controller to go along with it called the Daydream controller. This device will be very intuitive and in sync with the Daydream VR headset to take into account the motion and accuracy.
The controller will be able to be encased inside of the Daydream VR headset to keep track of the small controller. The headset and controller will have no wires which makes it very comfortable and easy to set up. The Daydream VR headset will be perfectly synced through the wifi and bluetooth.
Google has also announced that it’ll be bringing exclusive VR experiences to the Daydream View VR. They have partnered up with companies like Warner Bros. to deliver titles such as J.K. Rowling’s Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them experience. The headsets will be available in November starting at $79.
