Giphy Has Released A VR App That Takes You Inside A Virtual Museum Called Loop Dreams
Giphy is a large platform where people go to share, upload, and create the latest GIFs. Users can create snippets from famous movies and videos that usually helps project a certain message. Recently, Giphy launched a new VR app called Museum of GIF Art (MoGA) where people will be able to observe GIFs in a virtual reality museum.
The first exhibition launched on the new VR app is called Loop Dreams. Here you’ll find various GIFS created by 20 different artists in a pop-up art show style. Viewers will gradually navigate through a curious experience while observing the work from the GIF artists in a virtual world.
The GIF above is from the Loop Dreams VR experience where you can observe a certain artwork in the dark. By quickly turning your head, you’ll be able to shine light on the masterpiece created by a GIF artist.
The next feature GIF is also framed in an unusual setting where you can see the artwork featured deep within a wall. They all so various styles and creativity with expressive personalities.
The MoGA VR app by GIPHY is available on most VR platforms such as the SteamVR, Android, and iOS. Giphy plans to integrate on to the Oculus platform in the near future.
