Gear VR Controller Available to Consumers Today!

The wait is over! Samsung’s Gear VR Controller is available for purchase today. The controller retails for $39, or you can buy the Gear VR bundled with the controller for $129.

Powered by Oculus, it was first announced at the end of February at Mobile World Congress. The Gear VR Controller adds a deeper level of immersion by giving you the power to intuitively interact in the VR environment. The controller has a touchpad (tuned to make it easy to navigate to your favorite videos and perform a number of actions within a game) and a trigger that lets you select, grab, take aim, and fire. Ergonomically designed single hand use, the controller also has integrated home, volume, and back buttons, so you can easily move through a variety of content without breaking immersion.

Starting today, more than 20 new controller supported experiences are available, and 50 more titles will follow over the next few months. The following the list of experiences supported to date:
