Firewall: Zero Hour For PlayStation VR Is Getting Closer To Release
During this year’s E3, Geoff Keighley met up with Adam Orth to talk about First Contact Studios and the exclusive PSVR game that they are developing called Firewall: Zero Hour.
During the discussion, Orth explained the concept of the game and how users will be using the PS Aim Controller to direct movement and fire at the enemies.
Firewall: Zero Hour will be a 4 vs 4 multiplayer game where players are equipped with various weapons and tactical devices such as radars, grenades, etc. The two teams of mercenaries are hired by anonymous contract handlers to either proetect or obtain highly sensitive information on a laptop in dangerous and exotic locations around the globe.
Each team’s anonymous contract handler acts as their “eye in the sky” and guides each match by providing objectives and critical mission information along the way. Their only concern is the data and they are willing to pay out out handsomely for it.
- As Attackers, your team’s objectives are: Bypass the Firewall access points, Locate the Laptop and Initiate the Hack.
- As Defenders, your team’s objectives are: Secure the Firewall access points, Protect the Laptop and Prevent the Hack.
At the end of the interview, Keighley asked Orth when the game will be released and Orth replied saying “very soon.” More story to come during the week at E3.
