ELEAGUE is currently one of the largest esports tournaments in the world, first put together by Turner and IMG. Today, the company has announced a collection of cutting-edge technologies that will be integrated into the upcoming ELEAGUE CS:GO Premier 2017.
ELEAGUE’s live coverage of the Premier will incorporate biometrics to provide in-depth insights into a player’s reaction time and field of vision. They will also provide an immersive virtual reality experience for fans using Sliver.tv’s technology and the use advanced analytics for detailed stats. Live ELEAGUE CS:GO Premier 2017 action will begin Friday, Sept. 8, at 10 p.m. ET on TBS with digital coverage starting at 6 p.m. on Twitch, YouTube and the ELEAGUE homepage. The VR coverage will be provided on Sliver.tv.

ELEAUGE will be providing biometrics in partnership with Dell Gaming. Developed by Tobii, ELEAGUE will utilize this technology for the first time for fans across the globe. They will will track eye-movements of some of the world’s best CS:GO pros using micro projectors and sensors.
This biometric data is analyzed on Alienware PCs and used to create an immediate gaze overlay highlighting precisely where the player is looking throughout their play. These tools offer a new level of situational awareness, showing split-second reactions and giving both casters and viewers insight into how players may react and process high-pressure scenarios.
Sliver.tv will allow the audience to tune into the LEAGUE’s live coverage of Premier matches in 360-degree cinematic virtual reality stream. Fans will be able to be immersed in the virtual terrain featured in CS:GO and have access to incredible views. You’ll be able to hop around from position to position to have your own unique take on the match.
The VR stream will be supported across the web, iPhone, Android, Gear VR, Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, Daydream and Google Cardboard platforms. You can tune in through traditional 2D mode or use one of the headsets to have a more immersive experience.
For advanced analytics, ELEAGUE has partnered up with Dojo Madness’ Shadow.GG platform to offer viewers advanced data visuals including heatmaps, smokemaps and pathmaps, along with tactical and statistical replay views. Shadow.GG will provide ELEAGUE’s analysts and viewers with a data-based method to identify teams’ strategic tendencies, strengths and weaknesses.
