Just a few days ago Bethesda announced that they will be releasing a slate of VR games on both the mobile and PC platforms. One of those announcements was for Wolfenstein: Cyberpilot which will be a unique VR game for the franchise. While they told us about the upcoming game, they didn’t reveal a trailer for it. However, someone managed to find a leak for the trailer in German.
As you can see, the game will be taking place in 1980 in the city of Paris, France. The city looks to be war-torn and surrounded by evil Nazis and crazy looking robots. But as a cyber-hacker you will be able to infiltrate these robots and turn them against their own.
The specific robot in the trailer seems to be able to breathe fire and destroy just about anything that moves. According to storyline description, the Resistance has upped its tech game in the two decades since the events of Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus.
Wolfenstein: Cyberpilot drops you into the role of a resistance hacker on a mission to tear apart the Nazi forces in Paris using their own machines. Take control of a fire-breathing Panzerhund and more as you fight Nazis in the City of Love in order to aid the French resistance.
Wolfenstein: Cyberpilot will be available as a standalone VR game sometime in 2019. They haven’t specified which platforms the game will be coming to. In the past, they’ve released their games on PlayStation VR, Oculus, and the HTC Vive.
