Back in January of 2015, a New York Times journalist explored the realm of Love by putting psychologist, Arthur Aron’s 36 questions to the test. Aron believed that 36 questions could lead to love and through various experimentation, it did. Now, that same concept is being put to the test through a new VR experience called Fall in Love.

This VR experience puts you in an intimate setting where you must ask and answer these 36 questions with the person in front of you. And these aren’t just any ordinary Joe’s from the street. They are actually actors and actresses from TV shows, movies, and runways.

Cast:

Users in Fall in Love will choose which actor or actress they’d want to “fall in love” with and ask a series of questions over the course of 10 minutes or so. The questions range from surface-level, general information questions to more intimate questions and affirmations, which starts triggering deeper emotions. Moth + Flame stated that the conversations are timed perfectly to create a “seamless experience that allows subjects to feel as if they’re in the presence of the other person.”

Fall in Love was shortlisted for a Cannes Innovation Lion last year. If you want to test the 36 questions for yourself, you can download the experience today for free on the Oculus Store. Let us know about your experience and if it triggered any emotions.
