Last month we mentioned that a dip in GPU card prices are finally coming and now it seems that it has reached that moment. On April 26, 2018, we saw GTX 1080 GPU prices floating around at $630 to $680 price point. Now those numbers have dipped by around $100.
In our latest findings, we have discovered that the Gigabyte GTX 1080 is available for $579.99. Yes, a GTX 1080 has finally come back down into the 500’s price point. And on top of that, other competitor GPU distributors have come down in price as well. You’ll also find that the GTX 1080 mini by Zotac is available for $549.99.

We aren’t really sure how long the prices will hold as there are speculations of another wave of crypt-miners purchasing a massive amount of GPUs from the market. It might be worth purchasing now in case we see the numbers rise again if you are interested in upgrading your GPU.
