Musicians and artists are looking more to the virtual reality platform to help better represent their stories and immerse their fans into their work of art. The latest to join the VR calvary is 2 Chainz who recently made a VR experience behind his latest hit single Good Drank 2.0 ft. Quavo & Gucci Mane called The Pretty Girls Like Trap Music VR Experience.
Produced in part with Def Jam Records, you’ll have the ability to move around the Trap House filled with virtual characters you can interact with.
In the VR experience you’ll be getting a glimpse into 2 Chainz’s personal story of his own “Trap House” on Riverdale Road in Atlanta. This is prior to him becoming a successful hip-hop artist we know him to be as today. And according to his representatives, Pretty Girls Like Trap Music VR Experience will have a “Grand Theft Auto” feel to it in terms of graphics and sounds.
You’ll find little hidden treasures within the Trap House such as the Vault which can be accessed using the code 420. There are also places you can visit such as “The Jiggly Room” where you’ll find some strippers hanging out.
The link is currently live on the web where you’ll have the ability to operate the VR experience using a compatible mobile VR device. 2 Chainz also released his own cardboard shell to house mobile devices. If you purchase it from his page you’ll have access to exclusive content.
